There will be new "No Flyer" signs available since the original signs are getting old. Come to the meeting and get a new one!

There's plenty of time between now and the next party to try all sorts of projects, so bring ideas to the table!

Block Party This weekend

Remember no parking on the block on Saturday.

The block will be closed at 10 a.m.

Block cleanup has been CANCELLED

Due to an error at the Mayors Office with the permit issuing, we have been forced to choose between the Block Party and the Clean-up for street closure. Due to the amount of planning that goes into the Block Party we had to cancel the block closing for the clean-up this weekend (6th).

We will distribute fliers as well, but wanted to give folks enough heads-up as we could.

We apologize, but the situation was beyond our control.

This years annual Block Cleanup will be Saturday Aug. 6, 2011
We will shut down the block at 10 a.m. so that folks can pile up large amounts of garbage for a special pickup. Same sanitation rules apply as far as what you can throw out.
Volunteers will be available to get items to the curb.
There will also be a metal man coming by to pick up metal items. He has taken items as large as cast-iron tubs.

Block Party is 8/13/11

This year's Block Party is August 13, 2011.

We will shut down the street at 10 a.m. Streets open back up at 8 p.m.

We are still organizing, but hope to have some of the annual favorite activities such as the DJ, water slide, musical chairs and other games. Hopefully there will be a few new additions to the fun!
