Important Dates for Summer

The three big events for the Block Association this summer are as follows:
*note the stoop sale has been postponed for mid-September
July 19-20 - Stoop Sale. Clean out your basement and closets and sell your stuff at the Stoop Sale. All proceeds will go to the Block Association.

July 26 - Block Clean up. If it's not in the Stoop Sale you can get rid of the rest this morning. Note - no appliances and construction debris! Remember you must be out in the morning to load your stuff on the truck!

Aug. 2 - The Block Party. Now that you've done all the work, enjoy the weekend and get to know your neighbors... again.

We'll provide more details as the come. Help plan at the next meeting on June 14th.

FREETree Guards

Sometime this week, we hope to stop by everyone with a tree in the sidewalk in front of their house. We're trying to apply for FREE tree guards at the base of all the trees on our block.
(Jeffersone ave. on both the Marcy/Nostrand side and the Tompkins/Throop blocks have these)

Please help us get the information we need to get some free beautification.
